I grew up with my father having untreated Bipolar Disorder and I have struggled with the guilt associated with not understanding him or getting him the treatment that he needed. I am walking for all who struggle and for those that love them.

This has ruined lives for family and friends who struggled with isolation with their mental health issues, resulting in addiction issues and suicide, I struggle with my own anxiety and I want to be a part of bringing this conversation to the mainstream in a unashamed and positive framework.

I wanted to walk for Across All Lines because I have a passion for spreading awareness for mental health. I wasn't expecting that Across All Lines would show me that I could get help for grieving the loss of my father. At the end of the walk, I connected with an organization that had a free grief group, and I was shocked and felt like it was an answer to prayer. I loved how amazing this walk affected it's walkers is so many different ways, and I was eager to share how amazing and affecting it was for me.
